More Than A Career
Betsy’s heart for adoption extends far beyond her legal career—adoption changed her life. Adopted as an infant, Betsy was a licensed foster parent for over ten years and an she is an adoptive mom. Inspired by her personal adoption story, she is committed to using her legal skills to help more families experience the same life-changing journey.
Betsy and her husband Walt have been married for over eighteen years, and they have three sons. Walt is the pastor of Capstone Church in Fountain Inn. Their boys play a wide variety of sports, and the entire family loves to vacation in the mountains and at the beach.
Greater Than Greenville
As a Christian adoption attorney, Betsy is also concerned with orphan care overseas. In addition to running her legal practice in the US, she is involved with an orphanage in Haiti.
With her personal understanding of both the child and the adoptive parent’s perspectives, Betsy’s passion is to see more South Carolina families built through loving adoptions.
If you’re considering private infant adoption, foster care adoption, or stepparent/relative adoption, Betsy would love to talk with you.
